1. Install SUTLR_v1.7.0.zip
2. Put the phone in download mode -> red + vol up + power.
3. Browse for F0X-3270-0-0002-A01 [ROM] and select in recovery mode "Update Option: Erase user data" afterwards flash it.

To get root, thanks to calypso:
TO ACQUIRE ROOT:
1. install clockwork recovery either through fastboot or rommanager. IF a certain version does not work, revert to older version.
2. download http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6408470/su-releases/su-2.3.6.1-ef-signed.zip AND put it into ur memory card (DO NOT PUT IN FOLDER)
3. reboot to recovery mode (camera + vol up + power)
4. select "install zip from sdcard"
5. select "choose zip from sdcard"
6. then select "su-2.3.6.1-ef-signed.zip"

IF YOU DO THIS CORRECTLY, YOU WILL GET ROOT.

[Apps] Songbird app for Android goes beta

Using Songbird on your desktop or laptop to listen to your cavernous collection of digital music? Good news -- the Songbird team has been working in "super seekrit" (their words, not ours) on bringing you a pocket-sized version for your Android device. Even better, they've announced the availability of the first public beta of Songbird for Android -- and we took it for a spin.

Here's the quick version: Songbird looks nice, and it's got a good set of basic features. It's got a good built-in search and allows you to browse your library by artist, album, song, genre, or playlist. As you peruse your collection, the now playing pane hides itself behind Songbird's playback controls. Tap and drag the tab to slide it into view, and you can swipe through a Flickr-powered photostream or like the track on Facebook.

Want to control your Songbird queue from your homescreen? Like all good Android music players, there's a widget which allows you to do just that.

Now, this being the first beta we expected some bugs and missing features. While you can play existing playlists, Songbird doesn't yet allow you to create them on your device -- we'd love to be able to tap and hold a track to send it to a list. We'd also like to see something happen when we tap the menu button on our device -- maybe some personalization or sharing options could appear?

There's also an interesting bug (which the team calls out in their blog post) where the wrong songs may play if you have music stored both on your internal storage and on a microSD card. Try as we might, Lateralus just wouldn't play -- another album kept butting in.

Still, we're encouraged by our first taste of Songbird for Android. Check the gallery for more screenshots, or hit the Songbird blog and grab the .APK to take the beta for a spin!

Recovery Amon Ra Orange + APPS2SD + Nandroid fully functional at Rom 1.6.
Not tested on 2.0+ Roms.

* Extended menu (with keyboard-shortcuts):
o [HOME+Back] Reboot system now :: reboot your phone
o Enable/Disable SD Card
o [Alt+B] Backup/Restore (recovery partition not included!)
   + [Alt+0] Nand backup :: Make a Nand backup
   + [Alt+1] Nand + ext backup :: Make a Nand + ext backup
   + [Alt+2] Nand restore :: Restore a Nand backup
o [Alt+F] Flash zip from sdcard :: Flash a zip update file from your sdcard
o [Alt+W] Wipe
   + [Alt+0] Wipe data/factory reset :: Wipe /data and /cache
   + [Alt+1] Wipe cache :: Wipe /cache only
   + [Alt+2] Wipe Dalvik-cache :: Wipe /cache/dalvik-cache
   + [Alt+2] Wipe SD:ext partition : Wipe the ext partition on your sdcard
   + [Alt+4] Wipe battery stats : Wipe the battery stats in /data
   + [Alt+5] Wipe rotate settings : Wipe the sensor settings in /data
o [Alt+P] Partition sdcard
   + [Alt+0] Partition SD :: Interactive SD partitioning
   + [Alt+1] Repair SD:ext :: Repair the ext partition
   + [Alt+2] SD:ext2 to ext3 :: Convert ext2 to ext3
   + [Alt+3] SD:ext3 to ext4 :: Convert ext3 to ext4
o ENABLE Apps2SD
o Enable/Disable ROOT
o [ALT+Q]Power off :: Powers off your phone

To install:
1 - Put your phone in fastboot mode
2 - "fastboot flash recovery Boston_Recovey_Amon_ra.img"
